Flight in The Residence on an A380 from New York to Mumbai will set back passengers £26,000 – one way
A luxury suite on an Airbus A380 between New York and Mumbai has become the most expensive plane ticket in the world.
A one-way ticket for The Residence, a three-room ‘penthouse in the sky’ that has its own butler and chef, will cost passengers $38,000 (£26,000).
That means a return flight in the exclusive cabin would cost a staggering $76,000 (£52,000).

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has created The Residence for its A380 jets.
