Taking the art of the selfie to, literally, unprecedented heights was this Dutch F-16 pilot who used a GoPro to immortalize the flight of the first Dutch Boeing 787-8.
Two armed aircraft flew alongside the commercial plane, known as the Dreamliner, to provide protection on the demo flight.
The pilots, members of the Royal Netherlands Airforce, were able to take the selfies from this angle thanks to the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System, which differs from the traditional helmet communication system that provides an inverted, face-to-face view.
